Local Plan Review: Development Strategy Options and Policy Options

Closed 14 Mar 2022

Opened 17 Jan 2022

Overview

North West Leicestershire District Council is undertaking a Local Plan Review. The review will update the adopted Local Plan 2017 (as amended by the Partial Review) and will cover the period to 2039.

The consultation is structured into 8 sections covering broad topics, some of which are divided into a number of individual policy areas. Each of the policy sections sets out background to the policy area, including relevant national policy and guidance and local evidence, and goes on to consider reasonable alternative approaches.

In some instances we have sufficient information to propose a preferred policy option and, on occasions, to put forward specific policy wording. There is a consultation question or questions at key parts of each section.

The final question is a general question for you to make points which you have not been able to cover in your answers elsewhere.
