Closed 30 Mar 2020

Opened 17 Feb 2020

Overview

The District Council has made the decision to make a non-immediate Article 4 Direction to the village of Kegworth, to withdraw permitted development rights for the change of use from dwelling houses (Use Class C3) to small HMO’s (Use Class C4) where between 3 and 6 unrelated people share basic amenities such as a kitchen or bathroom.  It is proposed that the new Article 4 Direction will apply to the entire village of Kegworth, as shown on the accompanying map.

Public Consultation

A 6 week period to publicise the Article 4 Direction and to seek comments on the proposal will take place between Monday 17th February 2020 and Monday 30th March 2020.

A copy of the Article 4 Direction, a map defining the area and associated documents can be seen by clicking on the links below.

Any comments received will be presented to a future meeting of the District’s Council Cabinet, who will then decide whether to confirm the Article 4 Direction.

Please respond by the end of Monday 30 March 2020.

Please note that late response forms cannot be accepted.
