Gypsy and Traveller Sites - Call for Sites 2018

Closed 28 Aug 2018

Opened 25 Jun 2018

Overview

It is the Council’s intention to prepare a Gypsy and Traveller Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD) as a means of identifying a range of sites to meet the need identified in the Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople Accommodation Assessment 2017.  A previous call for sites exercise was undertaken in 2016 however this failed to identify any new sites.

If you are aware of any land within the district that you think may be suitable for use as a Gypsy, Traveller or Travelling Showpeople site then please fill in this form and return it to us.  The more information you can give us about a site will help, but if something is unknown please leave it blank.  You do not need to be the owner of the site (or even have the owner’s permission) to suggest it to us.

You will need to use a separate form for each site submitted and include a site plan for each one.  The site plan can be hand drawn but the boundaries of the site need to be clearly marked in red.
